Sermon Player


In the Sermon Player, select the title of the sermon you're interested in. You can then listen to the audio , watch the video , or download a copy to your PC . The audio and video will both play in the Sermon Player. Once the video begins, if you'd like to see a larger version of that video, move your cursor just below the video window and click on the "New Window" icon that appears. You'll then see a pop-up window showing the larger video.

If you would like to follow the Scriptures associated with a sermon, go to the Details tab after the sermon has begun. Find the Scripture line and click on the passage you'd like to see. These verses will automatically popup in the Sermon Player.

Should the selected sermon not automatically begin, refresh this page and make your selection again. Additional detailed instructions on using the Sermon Player can be found below.

How to Use the Sermon Player

  1. Play the Sermon
    2. From the playlist, simply click the audio icon to the right. The title of the sermon is in the playlist and the Pastor will be listed below it. The date the sermon took place on is under the audio icon on the right side of the player. If you click on the name of the title, it will Show Details of this sermon (see below how to use Details Tab). If you click on the name of the pastor, it will Find All sermons by this pastor.
  2. Search the Archives
    To Search the Archives, you can:
    1. Use Search Archive Function
      2. Type in the title, date or pastor of a sermon in the Search Archive box in the lower left corner of the player. Click on the "Search Archive" arrow to the right of this box.
    2. Use Sorting Options Function
      3. Below the Archive tab, you can click on the words, Sorting Options. This opens a window showing various sorting options, i.e., Pastor, Series, Scripture, Year, etc. After clicking on the "+" sign to the left of each of these options, categories for each option are now shown. For example, you can now see all sermons for a particular Series, or by a specific Pastor, or for a given Year.
  3. Subscribe to Listening Method
    To Subscribe to these sermons, simply click one of the three icons at the lower right corner of the player.
    1. Podcast
      2. The first icon is to set up an RSS feed or autosubscribe to iTUNES
    2. .MOBI
      3. The middle icon is to download and listen to MP3 on internet equipped cell phones and PDA devices.
    3. Get Player
      4. The third icon is to download a player on your desktop to listen to sermons without going to the webpage.
  4. Click the Detail Tab
    This will give you the details about the sermon you have selected...i.e. Title of sermon, Sermon Series, Pastor's name, Date of sermon, and Scriptures referenced. There are four icons on the upper bar above these details.

    1. Play Audio
      2. By clicking on this icon, you can play the digital audio file of the sermon listed in this details page.
    2. Download MP3
      3. By clicking on this icon, you can download an MP3 version of this sermon.
    3. View Art
      4. By clicking on this icon, you can view any art, or graphics attached to this sermon file.
    4. Tell A Friend
      5. By clicking on this icon, you can email a link to a friend so they can subscribe to or enjoy listening to these sermons.
